Moodle has a good set of tutorials you can use to get familiar with it. You can access them from their site at

You'll have to set up an account there (it's free - just different than your account here), but then you can access the courses on the left,

• using moodle
• basic demo
• social demo
• teacher demo

There are also forums with many teachers using moodle, if you want to talk to other teachers using it.
